NCA Convention Central Opens for Submissions January 15

Submissions for NCA’s 104th Annual Convention open on Monday, January 15. The Convention will be held November 8-11, 2018, in Salt Lake City, UT. This year’s theme, “Communication at Play,” is intentionally and playfully ambiguous. Imaginative, experimental, strategic, creative, and fun, play offers opportunities to discuss important aspects of Communication. From Huizinga’s notion of “homo ludens” (humans as game players), play studies has evolved to include a wide variety of perspectives, disciplines, and traditions. Playing with process, with language, with culture—all are “fair game.”
