Management Resources for Chairs
Department chairs and heads must manage multiple responsibilities to ensure effective functioning of their departments. The two largest tasks that chairs are likely to undertake are the hiring and mentoring of new faculty and the evaluation of current faculty. Increasingly, chairs and heads are asked to assist with fundraising and other related activities. Listed below are sources related to all of these tasks.
