Sigma Chi Eta offers three opportunities for outstanding chapters, chapter advisors, or students to receive national recognition for their embodiment of the six goals of Sigma Chi Eta. The winners are presented with their awards during the SCH Business Meeting at the NCA Annual Convention. Advisors and students alike are both eligible and strongly encouraged to submit award nominations.
Raymie E. McKerrow Chapter of the Year
This award recognizes the chapter that best exemplifies the goals of Sigma Chi Eta as outlined in the SCH National Constitution. In addition to an award plaque, the Raymie E. McKerrow Chapter of the Year will receive a $100 cash prize from NCA.
Lynn M. Disbrow Advisor of the Year
This award recognizes the chapter advisor who has dedicated his/her time, energy, and service to the student members of their chapter and has best manifested the goals of Sigma Chi Eta.
Student of the Year Award
This award recognizes an outstanding student member who has dedicated his/her time, energy, and service to their chapter and has best manifested the goals of Sigma Chi Eta.In addition to an award plaque, the Student of the Year will receive a $100 cash prize from NCA.
